14. The whole point of NATO was to create a firewall to protect Europe against the Soviet Union.

And even though the USSR itself is gone, Russia is still making incursions into European countries - just ask Ukraine and Crimea as well as Estonia, Finland (regular airspace violations) and Norway (potential naval conflicts and hacking). And Bernie wants a new NATO that includes Russia?
