It Is Almost Time to Cast a Vote and Go From Undecided Territory

This is kind of where I am at a few weeks before the California's March 3rd primary. I probably will cast my vote late next week. My two primary factors are: (1) Who do I think would be a good President and (2) Who can beat Trump.

This is not static. This is where I am at. I would be happy with anyone from Tier One or Two. Tier Three would be okay. With Tier Four, if I have to choose between Putin's favorites, I will vote for the liberal one to get Trump out of office.

Tier One:
Elizabeth Warren - Great Ideas. Great Person. Loved reading Two Income Trap.
Amy Klobachar - Smart. Articulate. Down to Earth.

Tier Two:

Joe Biden - Nice, relatable guy, but did not really excite me to vote for him in the past, so why now?
Pete Buttigieg - Smart, articulate guy with a middle class background, but not much experience.

Tier Three:
Michael Bloomberg - Competent, Old School, Rockefeller Republican type who has no place in the current Republican party, but has the resources to wage a campaign war with Trump. However, I see him as getting stranded in the middle like Schwarznegger in California who was too Republican for Democrats and too moderate for California Republicans.

Tier Four:
Bernie Sanders - By repeatedly attacking and demonizing the Democratic "establishment," Bernie tries to create a poison pill so that his followers will stay home if he does not win. That's not building a movement. That's narcissism.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

And when RBG retires.

That's why I'd like us to go to ranked choice voting for primaries.

my second choice is a battle between Warren and Buttigieg.

I like them both for very different reasons and it's hard to reconcile which I like best they have such different traits... traits I want in a candidate.

I wish I could combine them into one perfect candidate, but I'm not magic.

My thoughts are we need someone who doesn’t need to learn on the job. He can take over without a learning curve. And, somehow, the idea of having to be overwhelmingly enthusiastic about a candidate before voting for them, was never as important as other very necessary things needed to be President. I want someone experienced and worthy of the position he will hold. Someone humble and respectful to all of us. And, somehow, I cannot imagine people falling in love with some of our best Presidents, before voting for them. The admiration should come after we see them work for it and on behalf of America.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
