So you'll support him unconditionally if he wins the nomination, right? Blue no matter who, remember?

Bernie Sanders Signs Democratic Party Loyalty Pledge For 2020 Run
March 5, 20195:18 PM ET

"Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders has signed a loyalty pledge, promising to run and govern as a Democrat if he wins the presidency in 2020, a new requirement for candidates that largely grew out of his own 2016 campaign.

"The pledge Sanders signed was given to all active Democratic presidential campaigns last week. It affirms to the DNC chairman that they "are a Democrat ... are a member of the Democratic Party; will accept the Democratic nomination; and will run and serve as a member of the Democratic Party."

...many times, here, in the past. Then, he says he's not... Well, I believe Bernie. He's running in the Democratic primaries because he's more closely aligned with them than the Republicans. Also, I believe the Democrats would rather he run as a Democrat than as a Independent. Personally, I think he should just permanently join the party, now, and bring his views with him...

No committee somewhere gets to decide who is and who is not a Democrat. We leave that up to the voters. And a plurality of Democrat voters so far have made this clear: Bernie is a Democrat, and represents Democratic ideals.

this whole idea of what label someone goes by defines their policies is absurd and to think people should follow anyone just because they have the right label, color of skin, the right religion goes against anything thing I was ever taught.

We're better than this, at least of us are.

they show how important labels are. Some people, you see, can't think in abstract terms. They have to have labels that tell them how to think. It's significant that we see a number of these types of posts here.

I'd like to think we're better than that, but we're not.
