So, Bernie thinks he doesn't need the help of the "Democratic Establishment"

CalFione posted this, at the link below:

https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1287&pid=556757

Bernie tweeted this from above link:
"I've got news for the Republican establishment. I've got news for the Democratic establishment. They can't stop us."

_______________________________________________________________________________________

As far as I am concerned, that eliminates Bernie completely. Why? To reject the powers of the Democratic Party to get out the vote, and help with the election is beyond stupid"!!!!

It proves that Bernie is on an "ego" trip. He is quoted that he doesn't need anyone in the "establishments" help. If that is for real, then he has clearly lost track of what is happening. Bernie will need all the help he can get to defeat Trump.
Bernie hasn't got a clue. Trump wants Bernie, because he is easiest to defeat. Why? Bernie and his ego are lost in a sea of "self delusion."

...That is what we who worked and believed in the savior, "McGovern" thought.

McGovern would get us out of the war, and that would sway everyone to our side. Didn't work, did it?

Trump Defends Bernie Sanders On Russian Election Interference

Why would Trump Defend Bernie if that was not in Trump's own interest?..That is Bernie is the easiest to beat.

of Bernie's freeloading on the Democratic Party infrastructure for the greater glory of Bernie Sanders and... of yeah...F the Democrats.
The Berners are destroying the party from within... with the help of Russia.
Sound Familiar?

But I honestly believe that Bernie will not win, and will destroy our party from within. (as he is doing)

And I have been a member of the party for 52 years (I worked for Hubert Humphrey in 68) Does that count?

Sometimes it seems like Bernie is only a "Democrat" when it is to his benefit.

Then again, I do not want to see something like 1992 but in reverse -- Perot's candidacy divided the fiscally conservative, and we don't yet have instant run-off or ranked choice voting. An Independent run from the left would divide the left, so I can't say running in our primary is *solely* to his benefit.

Still, it rankles me. Not most of what he says about policy. Aside from his votes on gun legislation, which I admit were partly because he represented a state with many legal gun owners and nearly half the gun death rate (inclusive of suicides) per capita of my red state, I agree with his ideas.

But the fact that for him, he's used his "Independent" side for so long it's hard not to show it, even when that means allowing a Tweet to go out under his name that implied that both parties are the same. The last message we need out right now as a country.

It *does* feel like, if not that he only uses the Party when it's convenient merely for him (cuz as I said, there are reasons it's good for the Party), that he has a lot of disdain for the party he's running under and doesn't *want* to be one of us, even if we became what he envisioned as perfect. And that's hard to swallow.

I do believe his criticisms would sound different if he was willing to step inside the tent, and stay there, and call himself one of us when making his attempts at constructive criticism.

Senator Bernie Sanders's victory in the New Hampshire primary has deepened a mood of anxiety among the Democratic establishment

One thing unites establishment Democrats: Fear of Sanders

The Democratic establishment is doing a really bad job of stopping Bernie Sanders. Complaining doesn't accomplish anything; they need to

Bernie Sanders' real obstacle is not Trump. It's the Democratic establishment

Parts of the Democratic Party establishment are now in full-on panic over the possibility of a Bernie Sanders surge,

The Sanders factor: Establishment Democrats are beginning to panic

etc. etc. etc.
