Actual caucusing starts at 12 noon PST. Since caucus is different from a primary. Lowest vote count candidates are eliminated and those voters can switch to one of the remaining candidates. Then rinse and repeat until a candidate wins that precinct.

Early voters had a ranked choice ballot. Pretty sweet way to do it.

Seems to me if you are going to do it that way then just have a primary and allocate the votes proportionately as the Dems are doing in other states.

Congrats on a little rain and the dramatics. We're from and will always love SoCal, but the cloudless skies were usually very boring compared to what comes across or up or down our peninsula daily in Florida.
