Over 80,000 people voted early in Nevada, but M$M only reporting about 6000 votes - why??

What is the process? When will the 80000+ early votes be included in the totals? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

primary today, I would vote for:

Won't they count the early voting after the caucus count?

They have a ways to go huh.

....the actual precincts report.

So if 500 voted early in precinct A once precinct A tallies their votes, the 500 will be included then. They don't want to report any votes "early", otherwise people will be whining that they're "leaking votes".

It's not a matter of the faux "M$M" not wanting to report anything.

as a general rule,if you will, early votes are always reported last to avoid just this situation. Along same lines, if you are as old as me, that News channels stopped "declaring" before polls closed in general elections, back in the day.

The early ballots include multiple ranked choices, which are finally allocated after it is determined who is viable in their precinct. So it is actually impossible to know where the early votes will align until after the real voting happens.

We met precinct by precinct; in my case there were 18 of us. Everyone indicated his or her preference, and then they counted the early caucus selections from our precinct, 51, and added them to the groups based on first choice. After counting up the selections, only Bernie, Liz, and Pete were viable, and so those present chose a second candidate, and the second choices of the early caucus-goers were tabulated.

So bottom line there is no early count. Early and live will all be counted together.

BTW: We divided our CCDs thusly: 3 for Bernie, 2 each for Liz and Pete.
