Sorry, party purity is nonsense to me. George Washington warned us about irrational allegiance to political parties. I'm so disappointed in Sen Sanders. I listened to him for years on Thom Hartmann's show and thought he had some valuable things to say. But his candidacy in 2016 turned me off to him completely. When he called Planned Parenthood "The Establishment", that was the last straw for me.

I voted for Bernie in my 2016 primary, but the stakes are a bit higher now, and I really don't want 4 more years of Trump and the GOP Senate more concerned about power/party over country.
