I'm all in if Bernie wins

He’s not necessarily my first choice but I’ll certainly back him if he wins. I hate to see all the infighting taking place in this forum. I hope whoever gets the nomination we can all bury the hatchet and move forward.

I occasionally get tapped to be on a jury. Lately it’s pretty often, and always the democratic primary thread. Let’s remember who the enemy is; the Orange Abomination and the rethugs.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

...I'm all in should Bernie lose...however,

...how Bernie should lose will make HUGE difference to many...if Bernie should lose fair and square, that's one thing...

...should Bernie lose due to shenanigans, that's quite another...

...many will be turned off and will tune out taking all their energy and excitement that's out there right now for Bernie with them...

...and in the wake of their disappointment and dissipated enthusiasm, we'll be left with a mountain of apathy...

...and I don't see anyone overcoming this mountain of apathy nor surviving the Bernie vacuum...

...I could be wrong, but I doubt it...

determination to defeat Bernie in second round voting at the Democratic Convention is what you're referring to...and an almost sure 4 more years of orange tinged madness and neofascism for our country. Will the Democratic Party abide by the rules or bend them to defeat Sanders hell or high water?

It won’t be a revolution. Should he win the primary, and subsequently the general, it will be 4 years of absolute gridlock or another 4 years of Constitutional law bending and cracking to achieve the goals of a congressionally thwarted President.
BUT, I would so much rather have that gridlock with Sanders should that mean preservation of the Supreme Court and a halt in the free fall into fascism.
So I will be on board should Warren fail.

We need someone with a strong, clear message of change. We need a charismatic candidate.

Think of JFK, LBJ, Clinton, Obama. Of all the candidates, Bernie comes closest.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about this.

He is a risk, but the best we’ve got.

I support Warren and Sanders but I will vote blue no matter who. If I have to vote for a moderate I hope that candidate gives the ideas of Warren and Sanders some space in their platform. I am really concerned about the 40% of us in the US who are struggling families or living on the streets. I want young people to have the same chance at college that I had with low cost or no cost university.
