A recently-formed, center-right group that opposes Trump had encouraged independents and disaffected Republicans in Nevada to vote in the Democratic caucuses Saturday to try to keep Sanders from getting the nomination.
Extremists have taken over the Republican Party, the group said in one of their ads in Nevada. Dont let the same thing happen to the Democrats.

(45,806 posts)for Joe, Amy, Liz, even Pete, but I don't see any moderate Pubs voting for Bernie nor do I see many Indies voting for him either. We NEED those voters on board. ONLY Dems won't be enough.

(11,986 posts)Biden and Sanders will both get a lot of non-Dem support, even if not from the same people. that's why polls have consistently shown them as the top two vote fetters against Trump.

(16,685 posts)Despite what they might say they'll hold their noses and vote for him again. Because Trump is Republicanism without any hint of a polite veneer. Are they doing anything to curb him? Are his poll numbers with Republicans hurting? Nope they're sky-high.
