Apologies to all for the NV rumors thread last night

I feel Biden is the key to defeating Trump so have been really jittery over the last few weeks. Then I got a text from someone with a link to a BS article that turned out completely wrong. This is the first primary Season I’m really following closely. So lesson learned not to react to every fragment of information that comes by. As of this morning looks like Biden is back in the drivers seat as we head to SC.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

panicky posts and worse, those posting that Trump WILL win reelection and all is lost and we should all face loss of our democracy.... (and on and on) is extremely harmful. Some see them for what they are while others suspect we are facing a lot of trolling from RW or other actors seeking to demoralize and suppress DEM votes. And we know we have reason to be fearful.

That is why FB and all the lying created bullshit being allowed over there is so damned harmful. Even otherwise skeptical posters get caught up in it and especially for those new to the election process it can be overwhelmingly convincing.

The bottom line is we have to keep perspective. We are at the start of the primaries--not the end and one hell of a lot can happen between now and the convention--much less between now and the election. Don't let anyone demoralize us and if we are, take a break. Don't propagate it.

a bit. Saw an article that Bill Clinton lost Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada before he won the nomination in 1992. The day is still young!
