The real message from yesterdays primary was for Bloomberg

Now that Biden is back in the game, does Bloomberg continue to play the spoiler or does he slip out the backdoor quietly? Biden proved last night that he's the big dog and you don't fuck with the big dog. Heading into SC Biden's got the high-ground and Bernie will struggle, this is the real battle we've been waiting for. Plus with Warren now having successfully discredited Bloomberg, is there any reason for him to be in this at all.

I suspect on Sunday morning next week we'll be looking at an entirely different field with Biden on top.

primary today, I would vote for:

Either you get a guy, admittedly with baggage, who will kick ass against climate change and gun laws and will absolutely go after trump and his cronies,

OR you get a guy who will continue Obama's legacy.

But it's too good to be true. I'm not holding my breath.

He feels the breath of the grim reaper on the back of his neck, and he has decided to do something good with his money before he dies. His first goal is to defeat Trump. Good for him! Being President of the United States would be an added bonus, but there's no way he's giving up. He's got nothing better to do.

So Biden has factors against him that no one was seeing until now.

Does his campaign even have a plan for Russian aggression in the primary?

Is the republican plan to flood the Dem primary growing ot fizzling?

If don't understand these factors Bloomberg will remain

No, he proved he's not dead. We won't know how much life he has in him until after South Carolina. It would be silly for anyone to make any decision about Biden's strength without waiting at least until then.

MineralMan, I just want you to know that although I am new to posting I been reading your posts for years. Surely I don't agree with a lot of what you post but I do agree with much and I've learned a huge amount from it since I'm newer to the game (although not young myself). Thanks for all the wisdom you posted over the years political/unrelated and some really insightful thoughts.

Being arrested in South Africa. For some reason Dems are ignoring that. If Biden should get the not-Bernie vote and get the nomination, we’re not going to hear the end of it from the GOP, who will show him as going senile. They’ll also dig up more Hunter Biden stuff—you notice that’s been on the back burner, but if Joe is in the GE that’s going to make a comeback. Bloomberg’s past problems, by contrast, won’t hurt in a GE, only a Dem primary.
