Something interesting I noticed in Bernie's victory speech yesterday.

He went through every single one of his signature issues, making sure he doesn't miss any.

Except for one. Not a word on Medicare for All.

Bernie fans can correct me if I am wrong, but I think M4A is the only plan he provided some specific detail for. In any event, it is one of the few, and it is one he is most known for.

It cannot possibly be an oversight for Bernie not to mention it at all. It was deliberate. Is this a good sign or a bad sign? iI he is willing to overlook his signature issue, does this show Bernie being open to abandoning his more objectionable proposals, or does it imply , once he is President, he has no intention to deliver on M4A?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Sanders is an outspoken activist. He is good at drawing large crowds and getting them fired up, but now that he is the presumed front-runner, reality is starting to set in. It is no longer about impassioned stump speeches before his supporters, now he has to face some hard realities. Its a lot easier to paint this wonderful image of a better and fairer world, but much harder to make it happen.

Positive lasting change tends to come in increments, rarely in dramatic revolutions.

I hold out little hope for revolutionary change though.

Since Trump has decided he can do what he wants, I’m curious how that will translate to the next president. Weill Bernie Sanders be able to use EOs to jump start everything?

And together, we are going to end the international embarrassment of the United States of America, our great country, being the only major country on Earth not to guarantee healthcare to all people.

So let me be as clear as I can be. Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege. We are going to end the absurd situation in which we now are spending twice as much per person on healthcare as the people of any other country, yet 87 million of us are uninsured or under insured, 30,000 die each year and 500,000 people go bankrupt because of medically related debt. In America, you should not go bankrupt because you’re struggling with cancer. The function of a rational and humane healthcare system is to guarantee healthcare to all, not make 100 billion in profits for the drug companies and the insurance companies. And we are going to take on the greed and corruption of the pharmaceutical industry. Under our administration, the American people will not pay in some cases, 10 times more for the same prescription drugs sold in Mexico, Canada, or in Europe.

is one of his issues that he talks about in hundred of his speeches. I laugh when people complain about him always having the same speech. I pay attention. If I wanted I google hundreds of times he has talked about healthcare for all and not mentioned his MFA plan. I gave you two examples that were in his Nevada speech. he might not have mentioned his bill by name but the issues that his bill takes care of was spoken of by him. I guarantee you, Bernie will never "overlook his signature issue", as you called it in your OP and stop fighting for the American people

And together, we are going to end the international embarrassment of the United States of America, our great country, being the only major country on Earth not to guarantee healthcare to all people.
