Will the Acrimony and Defeatism STOP once we have a nominee?

Serious question.

Or will the "I'll vote for them but hold my nose and we'll lose anyway" type posts continue?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

And the deflection is noted.

But, will the "I'll vote for them but hold my nose and we'll lose anyway..." posts actually STOP once we have a nominee?

as long as they vote? A reluctant vote counts just as much as an enthusiastic one. I will be enthusiastic about defeating Trump no matter who the Democratic nominee turns out to be, and therefore I will vote for that person.

I think that is self-evident.

Because it is not helpful to getting our nominee elected is why. Quite the contrary.

after the primaries. This primary season is nothing compared to 2016 and 2008. This site was much more divided. But we came together after the nominee was declared.

Seems like you’re hinting that Bernie should have been the nominee instead of Hillary...

... but now you’re supporting Bloomberg?

Let's not have the primaries and just put a ham sandwich up there! I've heard a bunch of people say they'd vote for a ham sandwich over Trump, so that should work, right? Or someone's cat! Yeah, people love cats!

The way Trump goes down is if people tell their friends, have tough conversations, knock on doors, work phone banks, and support the nominee in the general. Build enough enthusiasm to have an interference-proof electoral college win.

Whom ever our eventual nominee is, once the primary battles have been fought, we must come together to defeat Trump.

I've seen a lot more acrimony here in the past. I've seen a great deal of defeatism. This year is on par, I suppose. You'll get used to it.
