Democratic Primaries

Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
OK, will run parallels
We are told that Obama was considered unelectable (really? did not know); that Trump was considered unelectable hence Sanders will.
OK.
Now what happened after two years? In 2010 Obama lost the House, in 2018 Trump did, too. In both cases over healthcare and if Sanders is elected, see the same in 2022.

(1,205 posts)1. Sanders is bashing Democrats as he is telling us we have to vote for him. Sanders is attacking Dems
suggesting what? That people do not vote for the Democrats running for House and Senate?
Show me the parallel.

(33,643 posts)2. These supposed parallels re: electability involve fallacious reasoning ...
And are not worth more than a casual 'huh ... interesting ...' in the grand scheme.
Every election is different, the people running are different, economy is different, mood of country is different ...
