Bloomberg is going to take Sanders apart with a negative ad campaign.

He has been calling for a two man race. How is he proposing to win it? By big rallies? By big wins on the debate stage?

No, his campaign is all about ads. He is looking to win with ads. We have seen one attack ad already. Seen him talk about communism already. His path to victory is negative ads.

IMO Bloomberg v Sanders would be an ultra bitter contest that would tear the party apart.

Am I missing something? How am I wrong?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The latest YouGov poll has Bloomberg vs Trump at a +3 for Trump. All other candidates were even or winning. Biden was +2, Sanders +3.

This is one of the first post debate polls. People are starting to have information about Bloomberg that doesn't come from his media blitz, and they don't appear to like what they are hearing.

No... Sanders running against Trump AND running against the Democratic party is what will tear the party apart.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/1287570879
Even when Bernie runs on the Democratic ticket, he attacks the party. That doesn’t exactly endear him to committed party members – especially in today’s political environment, when being a united party is key. By stating that “the Democratic establishment AND the Republican establishment can’t stop him”, he is being extremely divisive by putting himself out as someone who is actually running against BOTH parties, and not as someone who is running FOR the party that he is supposedly running on behalf of.

pissed about those on our side harping about the socialist thing. They know democratic socialist is not the same thing at all.

Socialists helped us get some great things in this country. We got a middle class. Farmers could actually make money at it. Factory and mill workers were no longer slave labor, and we stopped killing off miners and railroad workers at the rate of a few thousand every year. All that without actually becoming a socialist country.

Why he mislabels as a demicratic socialist is beyond me. FDR and most New Dealers went out of their way to condemn the socialist label. The actual socialists like Norman Thomas did not consider the New Deal socialist.

Actual democratic socialists want to have the state control the means of production and eventual abolish mist form of capitalism. The just want to do it via the democratic process as opposed to violent revolution.

Bloomberg attacking Sanders, who is the weakest candidate we have and will be a disaster up and down the Dem ticket once the Republican "socialist/communist" barrage starts," is good news for best anti-Sanders candidate, Biden.

Attack ads can rebound against the attacker. Bloomberg down will release voters, and, if Biden wins S. Carolina, the anti-Sanders momentum is his.

Run the ads now with all the things he said 20 and 30 years ago that might scare people off.
