@MikeBloomberg
The NRA paved the road to Washington for Bernie Sanders.
He spent the next three decades making sure they got a return on their investment.
We deserve a president who is not beholden to the gun lobby.

(3,413 posts)3. RKBA and guns are a LOT less popular on DU
and in the big cities than they are in lots of the rest of the country.
Bloomberg's strident anti-gun stands will *not* be much help in a lot of swing states. Sure in CA, IL or NY gun control is a winning issue, , but lots of Democrats are nowhere nearly as pro gun control as the general consensus of this board or the big cities.

(2,753 posts)4. Did Bernie endorse NRA-backed Scott Brown over Elizabeth Warren
How about Pat Toomey over Katie McGinty? How about George W. Bush over John Kerry. Bloomberg did to all of the above. Should I keep going?

gobblin. This is totally and immediately relevant to the discussion we are having and must have today.
