Bloomberg is fabricating quotes attributed to Bernie

and spreading those fake quotes all over social media. Absolutely disgusting. Bloomberg has no business running the Dem primary.

There was even a parody post that someone made complimenting Hitler on his autobahn highway system.

I kinda went when I saw it, but I think that was the intended effect.

This forum is so disgustingly toxic.
You know what REALLY toxic (and I've yet to see complaints from BS fans) ... that's when we continually hear divisive smears and lies about the Democratic party and Democrats in general, and nary a word is spoken. Why is that?

It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt". It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats are "intellectually bankrupt". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "feeble". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "corrupt". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is an "absolute failure". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is "the party of the one-percent". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is the "party of the elite". It's NOT TRUE that there's "no difference between Democrats and Republicans." It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats "are the same as the GOP". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "do-nothings". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party "doesn't care about climate change." It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats "focus too much" on diversity. It's also NOT TRUE that people who the refuse to vote for an African-American because of his skin color "aren't racists". It's also NOT TRUE that the Democrats who "are very big into diversity" aren't "particularly sympathetic" to the working class.

Where's the outrage about this? Where's the indignation? Why so selective? This is the type of negativity that DOES divide the party. I creates anger, distrust, resentment, suspicion... and that weakens us. A divided party is a weak party. What good purpose does it serve to attack Democrats and the Democratic party?

All I'm trying to say is that this is the cause of so much negativity. Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

Nobody is bashing Bernie. And I'm afraid you over-estimate the "reach" of DU. It's just a tiny little community of MAYBE 400-500 regular users and not a whole lot more "lurkers". This place is NOT where discussions will "make or break" elections.

It's fun and all. I enjoy reading. I enjoy the interaction. Even the bickering and one upsmanship is entertaining. But if you truly believe that the "bernie bashing" that goes on here is of national importance... think again.

So... I'll be looking forward to reading your condemnation of Bernie's attacks on the Democratic party and Democrats... you know... because reasons.
