Patrisse cullors endores Sanders/Warren and says Biden should take a step back for new leadership.
This is a huge endorsement for Sanders and Warren and could push Sanders over the top in South Carolina.

(713 posts)I think what is meant is that Sanders philosophy and policies are "new" compared to more neo-liberal, centrist ideas that have been prevailing for the last 25 years in the Democratic Party. Sanders is in some ways harkening back to the New Deal and other Progressive eras and policies that we have not seen in recent political history. At least not since Bill Clinton triangulated and beat George HW Bush the First by tacking to the center. I think that a lot of rank and file members of Black Lives Matters might give Sanders and Warren another look now. So it is a good endorsement.
