You do know that Sanders actually is a socialist and calls himself one, right?

So, there's a world of difference between being smeared as a socialist/communist when you're not one, and being called a socialist when you are one.

And the vast majority of Americans -- not being grad students in political theory -- don't have a clue about the differences between democratic socialism and communism.

In part, that's because the Soviet Union and other communists called themselves socialists. Plus it doesn't matter. Socialists, in the popular mind, want the government to own everything.

And the vast majority of Americans have said in polls that they don't want socialism. Period.

So, please open the door to reality and take a breath.

Sanders will mean the end of the Democratic Party, and of this country's experiment with democracy and the law.
