Will have to check your links. It has been years since I had anything to do with food & drug administration law. Yet, i would think I would have heard, or read, if it changed.

Our law says a dangerous drug that is effective (heroin) is schedule 2 & can be prescribed (supposed to be controlled conditions)

A drug like marijuana, considered ineffective and dangerous is schedule 3.

That scheduling can be changed with a finding marijuana is efficacious treating an a condition or disease. Marijuana is proven to be effective against epilepsy.

Tue Feb 25, 2020, 11:00 PM
Feb 2020

There was supposed to be debate on the treaty last year, but the question was postponed.

Some legal scholars have argued that the best approach is to legalize state by state and find a mechanism that would more or less force the legalization in any reluctant state.

That's how we got a national drinking age. Because one of the stated purposes of raising the age was to reduce DWI accidents and deaths, states that signaled a refusal to comply with the change were threatened with a loss of federal funds for interstate highways.

To date myself, everyone could drink beer but me (grandfathered 18 up in my state) until I was 21. The drinking age change irked me; yet, it was the right thing to do.

Also remember how the tax law changed. Folks under a certain age did not used to pay income tax unless the kid made a boatload. It was a start in life, until it wasn't. This change was not the right thing to do.

So Far, Warren Commands The Most Talking Time
Halfway through the debate, Warren has gotten in more words than her six rivals.

According to an NPR analysis of speaking time, Warren has spoken for 8 minutes and 15 seconds.

Bloomberg is right behind Warren. Speaking the least is Steyer, who has spoken for 3 minutes and 41 seconds.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

otherwise had to break quarantines to get supplies, bury bodies, help with education outreach—this was a controversial program. Yes, Obama helped contain the epidemic there and stop its spread. They needed lots of personnel they just did not have much organization and medical infrastructure.

Up to US intervention, West African civilians had been valiantly doing a huge part burying bodies, disinfecting, outreach to villages and cities. And of course Doctors Without Borders, but WHO finding had been cut, and many people in charge were appointees, not professionals.

Did he exaggerate? I think the military intervening was a turning point, but certainly there were other factors.
