Trump was talking about 2016... and if Hillary had picked Bernie as her VP... would his populist anti-trade stance have been enough to get Trump voters to vote for Hillary / Sanders.

Now, of course, Bernie is at the top of the ticket... and Trump has implemented his tarrif based isolationist trade policies... and will now paint Bernie as a radical socialist / communist.
