(15,601 posts)After Super Tuesday, Sanders will likely have an insurmountable delegate lead.
Dreams of a moderate being selected at a brokered convention are just that, dreams...

(15,601 posts)But if the Dems select someone other than the delegate leader, in David Plouffes (Obamas chief strategist) words, it would take a generation for the party to recover from that error.

(32,017 posts)If you had asked me a couple of weeks ago, I would have told you that I thought a brokered convention was very likely.
Today, I think that there's a higher chance of Bernie walking into the convention with a majority of delegates.
Super Tuesday will tell us a lot, but I am expecting Bernie to clean house.
For better or for worse.

(2,412 posts)I wish Moderates would coalesce around Warren. She is so well informed and has a great set of ideas for how to carry out her platform. I would vote very reluctantly for Biden. I will not forget how he actively supported the War on Iraq and then he voted for it. The trillions of dollars wasted on this. And the million Iraqis who died (according to The Lancet). This is rather a big mistake.
