(41,832 posts)voted for Trump. County results were 60% for Trump. It's a misconception that the Native Americans vote in a block. In Oklahoma at least they vote like the people in their community. Although Tahlequah is the Capital of the Cherokee Nation, it is 54% white.
It's just a small city like so many in Oklahoma. Most of the time you can't even tell who is of Native heritage.

Shall I keep in mind that my own opinion on Native issues does not matter, because I am a Sanders supporter? Guess I shouldn't vote in my tribal elections either.

(11,241 posts)about as well as she was able to. It was not that egregious .. although perhaps certainly unaware .. an offense to begin with. And what we learn here is that some individuals will never be satisfied, no matter what amends are taken. Quelle-surprise.
