Bernie Sanders to hold rally in Minnesota the day before Super Tuesday

Democratic frontrunner Bernie Sanders will hold a rally in St. Paul the day before voters take to the polls on Super Tuesday.

Minnesota is one of 14 states holding primaries on Super Tuesday, Mar. 3, and Sanders is banking on a decent performance in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Sanders is polling second in Minnesota behind Sen. Amy Klobuchar in her home state, with a Star Tribune/MPR poll released at the weekend putting him 6 points behind Klobuchar, who has 29 percent of likely voters.

Sanders' campaign also announced it would be adding two pre-Super Tuesday events in Massachusetts, Warren's home state, suggesting he's planning on beating his Democratic rivals in their own back yards.

I'm not sure it suggests that. Maybe mentally he's conceded winning those states, maybe he hasn't, but either way, with proportional delegate allocation, it makes sense to campaign for more votes even in a state you don't expect to win. Campaigning in a state does not have to mean you think you can win it.
