don't quite understand the motives of those trying to smear him all the time. the worst you can say is a long time ago he made some verbal comments. meanwhile everything I heard is his company was a great place for women to have a career. not to mention we have a thing in the WH that has been second only to the mullahs of the ME in his treatment and policies toward women.

I don't understand the folks trying to tear Mike Bloomberg down. Seems very self-defeating.

I am a woman in a tech field and I have been in the field long enough to remember being the only women in meetings too.
I have been sexually hit on or worse by managers, peers who tried to get me fired after rejecting them and much more.
I can remember a VP at the first place I worked after graduating walking down the hall's joking with another effectively saying HAHAHHA Bob, I can't believe you worked for a WOMAN!!

That's why if the worst "dirt" on Mike Bloomberg is that he made some inappropriate comments 30 years ago I think it's ridiculous to harp on it. I would have been tickled pink if that's the worst I'd been exposed to. it was EVERYWHERE back then and any guy who says it wasn't is IMHO full of it.

To me the real issue is have they evolved. By all accounts MB's enterprise was a wonderful place for competent, career-minded woman to work and be promoted. I see no reason to pick him apart.

Just explaining my perspective. I appreciate yours as well.

21. Bloomberg has NOT released 3 women from NDAs
Wed Feb 26, 2020, 07:26 PM
Feb 2020

Bloomberg has offered to release 3 women from NDAs. The women are required to contract Bloomberg LP, and ask. And without question, they will be required to sign something, at a minimum acknowledging they have been given a release. But wait, there's more. Are (all) the provisions of the NDA voided ab initio, from the date the sign Blooberg's release or voidable? On both sides, or unilaterally on Bloomberg's side? Does Bloomberg regain the right to pursue legal action the women? Do they? What is the status of monies paid under the NDA?

At the very least, the women would be taking advice.

Michael Bloomberg Will Release Some Women From NDAs If They Ask

Michael Bloomberg said Friday that he is now willing to release women from three non-disclosure agreements related to offensive comments they say he made -- after refusing to do so at Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate.

“Bloomberg LP has identified 3 NDAs signed over the past 30+ years with women to address complaints about comments they said I had made. If any of them want to be released from their NDAs, they should contact the company and they’ll be given a release,” Bloomberg tweeted.

One of the NDAs concerns a woman named Sekiko Sekai Garrison, who filed a complaint in 1995 alleging that Bloomberg told her to “kill it” when she told him she was pregnant, the Associated Press reported and a senior campaign aide confirmed.
