Feb 27, 2020

A few years ago our ideas were considered "radical." Not anymore. Now it is time to complete our political revolution.

I know the video was titled as you posted it, but it really should be State Senator or Ohio State Senator.

MEMBER OF A STATE SENATE

State senators use Senator as an honorific: addressed in writing and orally as Senator (name). State senators are addressed as State Senator (name) or Mr./Ms. (name) in Washington, DC, especially in the presence of United States Senators.

national political campaigns and issues. Sanders should be referred to as 'Senator'. Ms. Turner should be referred to as State Senator or Ms. Turner. I suspect she enjoys the confusion, but she hasn't earned the title ( nor hopefully will she ever).

Because last I checked, he was a United States Senator, which means -- even based on the rules of your attempted defense -- that he of all people shouldn't be referring to Nina Turner as Senator.

It's especially more ironic given the fact that Sanders himself is the only person I've actually seen regularly refer to Nina Turner as Senator. I guess whatever you can do to make it sound like you have more support from your Senate colleagues than you actually do, eh?

to differentiate the two as it notes.

Also, it should technically be former State Senator Turner since she hasn't been a State Senator since 2015.

at least one of the more prolific Sanders posters is on his campaign staff, though I don't recall the details. It should probably be required to be disclosed, though I'm not sure how it would be enforced.

We've had a few regular posters from campaign staff in prior cycles, but they were pretty open about it. Elizabeth Edwards used to post here before she sadly passed away.
