(8,052 posts)against him. There's probably a good deal of material there, he is not exactly a "woke" sort of guy.

(9,116 posts)This isn't exactly the search for the Holy Grail, bruh. I can't walk down the hall to take a piss without tripping over some stupid shit Mike Bloomberg said.

(8,052 posts)said some remarkably stupid things as well. If we eliminated people by stupid remarks, we'd have no one.

(11,986 posts)...will probably stay in for quite a while longer, though personally, if he gets fewer votes than Biden on Super Tuesday, I think it would be better if he dropped out. But it also seems unlikely based on this...

(115,674 posts)Candidates drop out when they run out of money. That's not going to be Bloomberg's problem.

(11,986 posts)...it's not impossible that--depending on how various other candidates are doing--he could choose to drop out despite money being no issue, i.e. if he thinks his presence in the race is becoming more divisive than helpful. Not likely, but not impossible.

(509 posts)Best we can hope for is that he fizzles on Super Tuesday and becomes a non-factor going forward.

(146,286 posts)He has not been on any ballot so far, but will be on 14 ballots in 14 states on March 3.
So, your hopes will not be realized, I'm afraid. No candidate who has more than a few delegates already will drop out until after Super Tuesday.

(2,657 posts)The only way he is dropping out would be if he does epically bad on Super Tuesday. I suspect that he will do well enough that he will stay in until the Convention because I think he likes the attention.
