In 2014, Biden told his staff he did NOT want them missing family obligations for work

Tweet, and image of the memo, from Christopher Hale, who worked for the Obama campaign and administration:

In 2014, @JoeBiden
wrote a memo to complain that his staff was missing family obligations for work.

“It’s very important to me. I’ll go so far as to say that if I find out you are working while missing important family responsibilities, it’ll disappoint me greatly.” #WeKnowJoe

One of the replies to this:

A family friend worked in his office during his years as vice president and said Biden was absolutely beloved by the staff. He treated everyone with respect no matter whether admin or building services staff.

It’s not an act with him. He really does treat people this way.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
