I got an email today from a republican group. Here's my response:

I have no idea where you got my email address. I AM A DEMOCRAT, A LIBERAL ONE. Please go away and leave us honest Americans alone. Ugh.

That felt good.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Repugs collected as many voter names, etc. as they could and those were exposed in the breach at the RNC.

I’d cut the caller off in mid-sentence and demand to know where they got your number, even if yours is listed/published. If they don’t give you a straight answer, insist on speaking with the supervisor.
Get names (caller, Company, PAC, etc) and tell them that you are on the Do-Not-Call Registry, and that you will immediately report this call.

After the call, add the Caller-ID number to your phone company’s blocked-numbers list.

...if you haven’t done so already: report that sender to your email carrier as “spam.” Don’t just unsubscribe. That conveys to the sender that yours is a valid address. (I always hesitate to hit the unsub link, in fine print at the bottom of the junk message).
Rather, move that message to the Spam folder (preferably on the web portal). If your carrier has other ways to “Block this sender,” follow those steps.

Stay strong!

I hadn't realized that unsubscribing would tell the sender that my address is a valid email.

I will remember that for next time, and Thank You!
