(10,500 posts)The African American vote should be more like 60 percent. The white vote should be more like 35 percent.
I strongly suspect that the difference was made by GOP voters entering the primary to vote for Sanders.

Only 25% of Democrats consider themselves to be "very liberal". Not just in SC, but nationwide.

There are still some of them older southern white Democrats in South Carolina who call themselves conservative. It is actually a codeword for something else, but I guess we can't talk about that tonight.
Senator Harris did though in one debate against Biden. Kudos to her.
