(2,406 posts)In Nevada, forecasters had to deal with redistributing votes from candidates who did not meet threshold. Also, a lot of Nevada votes were cast early, not day of.
So, it makes sense that Nevada was harder to forecast, and took longer.

(1,184 posts)A quick search of "Biden results" on Facebook will reveal lots of comments like, "Oh, so they're calling it for Biden with no results in. The DNC fix is in."
Because the DNC coordinates with ALL the networks, apparently Fox has fucking called it at this point.
People who say things like that reveal a fundamental ignorance about most things politics. As a liberal, it is important to me that liberals not look stupid and uninformed. I had a sense Biden would win big tonight, signifying an early call, and I dreaded the inevitable comments about it.
