My Florida ballot isn't due until 3/17 so I still have a couple of weeks to decide.

I know whom I'd like to see as our next president, but unfortunately it seems voting by that criterion is a luxury that we can't afford. Instead it looks like we'll need to nominate the candidate most able to fend off the deluge of deceitful slander that will inevitably come, and that means predicting the strategy that Trump would use against each Democratic candidate and determining how relatively effective that strategy might be.

In other words we can't cast our votes for the candidate we like; we must instead cast the most effective vote against the incumbent, whom we don't like, by voting for the candidate most likely to beat him. And that means being influenced not by what we believe but by what other people believe, even though we know that what they believe isn't true.

So who has the best chance of beating Trump, and why?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

More than that, the down ticket Dems are more comfortable with Biden at the top of the ticket. I shutter to think we could lose the house with Bernie.
Voting Biden here in Florida.

The party base loves him, moderates and independents love him, and many Never-Trumpers would be willing to consider voting for him.

And he’d have a strong shot in Florida, where Bernie would get slaughtered.

If Biden were to get the nomination and pick someone like Kamala Harris as his VP, I think he’d be unstoppable.

...because all of the polls I've seen show that ALL of our top nominees will beat Trump. If Bernie is not the nominee, I will vote for whoever is.

I'd also wait to choose the best choice to beat Trump and send Sanders back to the senate, or wherever he'll choose to act out his anger between now and November 3.

No matter how many delegates Sanders might have, I'm among those who believe he's close to a dream candidate for those promoting him from Russia and the RNC. The Russian wind below his wings would become a dirty blizzard of lies and scandals in his face as soon as the nomination was secure, perhaps the very day just so we headed for the convention already mostly defeated.

They are 100% signature matched and resulted in many legal voters not having their votes counted in 2018. They say they send letters to verify the new signature, but I've only talked to 1-2 who actually received the letters before the election. There is a database where you can verify if your mail-in ballot has been recorded, but damn, I'm sorry but I don't remember the site name.

Anyway, best wishes for a recorded blue vote.
