But alternately, I do get tired of being lectured about "reaching across the aisle". Obama tried that for 8 years and got his hands cut off.
Democrats have to do what they decide collectively that they believe is right. They don't need to look for approval from the GOP. Look, if a candidate believes that a $15/hr minimum wage is "wrong", okay. But I chafe at the idea that somehow one shouldn't advocate for it, or try to pass it because it's "too far left".
