Anti-tRump sentiment is what is driving Biden's wins tonight
Ds have decided that getting rid of tRump is THE issue this election. They don't want a revolution. They want normalcy. And that means Biden, not a "socialist" who will scare off voters.
The huge D turnout today should have the Rs shaking in their boots, because it means that Ds are going to turn out in November to vote for Ds up and down the ballot.

1. Yes. Anti-Trump, and not anti-Sanders or anti-Warren.
The Rs surely must be shaking in their boots.

2. I been considering that this exactly is the driving force of supreme importance in the display of
the current voting.
After he be booted out, then we get down to brass tacks. The riddance is of prime importance. Ideal reforms, undoing destructive policy, etc. can follow after when we're secured in the driver's/Cat Bird seat. 🇺🇸 ![]() ![]() ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

5. This
Yesterday was the entirety of the democratic party (including the rank and file) coming together to stop the slow motion train wreck that a Bernie nomination would be.

4. Of course it is.
I've been saying this for months. This election is about two words. Beat Trump. That is our only issue.
All the other issues can be taken care of once we have a Democratic candidate who can beat Trump, sitting at the Resolution desk in the White House. We have had an amazing group of candidates running. But Joe Biden is the one who will bring us the biggest turnout in November. That is how we Beat Trump. I hate to say this, but it's true. I personally know Democrats who feel this way. Bernie is too far left. Some people will not vote for a gay candidate. Some people will not vote for a woman candidate. And some people are sick of those who can buy their way into office. When even Democratic voters hold these prejudices, they will not show up to vote when the person on the top ticket is someone who fits into one of these categories. I hope the day comes when we grow up, and none of these reasons matter. But in 2020, unfortunately they still do. Joe Biden is someone we can trust. Also importantly, the world knows they can trust him. The world knows him through his work as the vice president. He already has established relationships all over the world. He can start healing this country, and our standing in the world, on day one. What a lot of people don't seem to understand is that this is not a normal election. We don't have the luxury of voting for our sentimental favourite. We don't have the luxury of voting for the person with whom we most closely identify. We have a madman in the White House. If we don't remove him by way of ALL of our votes, I doubt he will ever leave. He wants to be a dictator, and he is doing everything he can to assure it happens. We know he's afraid of Joe Biden. Trump's team knows that Joe Biden is the one person who will bring out the vote, who can Beat Trump, and end this national nightmare. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

7. Agreed to the max...
Your fourth paragraph are the exact feelings I’ve had during this winnowing process. I wish to the deepest parts of my democratic bones those sentiments didn’t exist...but they do.
I’m an unwavering very liberal Democrat...but Trump beat pragmatism into me. I had a rose-colored glasses view of this country before him, I kinda want that back. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

8. Unified Democrats
Will defeat putin and trump this time. Its time for all good Democrats to join together to oust what putin has installed in our country as a president. To me it hurts my candidate didn't show that well , but the nominee whoever that is gets my 100% support to defeat these two corrupt criminals who've corrupted our elections and our government . trump and putin will be exposed soon to destroy any chance of winning , and the Democrats have the goods and are waiting until its too late for the GOP to replace trump , I think. trump will be desperate now and try to make this personal, but Joe should have dirt on trumps kids now, or he's not going to stop. trump is really scared now and his tweeting will show it .

9. Why not both?
I want to get Trump out AND I want a revolution.
No revolution = revert to pre-Trump status quo Pre-Trump status quo = Trump elected As someone who will vote for Joe if he's the candidate, know that I am voting against Trump, not FOR Joe. I would vote for an actual donkey if that was who the DNC put up in 2020, but I wouldn't necessarily believe that donkey would win or enact any of the systemic change that's important to me if it did. And that lack of enthusiasm FOR Joe among the progressive wing is what the DNC needs to come to terms with before the election. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |
