With Bullock entering the MT Senate race... we can pick up 5 or 6 seats

McSally will lose in AZ
Collins will lose in ME
Gardner will lose in CO
Tillis is looking pretty bad in NC
Ernst is in trouble in IA
Graham is getting shakier in SC

And now... Montana is going to be a lock for Bullock.

Unfortunately, we might lose Doug Jones. Let's hope not.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The fact that Jeff Sessions came in second place for a run off is interesting. And The Orange One is dissing him constantly. Tommy What's-his-name might win, because Alabama, but Doug Jones may surprise us! Wouldn't that be nice! Dumping Lindsey Graham would be very sweet, indeed.

12. A Real Dilemma for fans of Alabama Football Fans

Since Tommy Tuberville was the football coach at Auburn and Alabama fans hate everything about Auburn football, will they put their allegiances aside and follow the wishes of their Orange dear leader? Or will the hated be strong enough to allow the Keebler elf to sneak through the run-off election?

13. Tuberville may prove completely inexperienced

Since he has no record of running for political office (I don't believe), and therefore might make a ton of mistakes on the campaign. He's a football coach. Doug Jones is an experienced officeholder.

Then there's the Auburn/U. of Alabama factor. Are Crimson Tide alums going to be jazzed to vote for a former Auburn coach? It's at least a consideration, particularly if Tuberville starts making errors.

Doug Jones is far from the automatic writeoff that some other sites have portrayed him to be.

I count 11 possible flips.

I rate six as at least 50-50, or better (AZ, ME, CO, NC, IA and now MT).

Three are maybe 30% chance (Georgia and Kansas); greater chance in GA if Biden takes the state.

Two as maybe 15% chance (KY and SC).

If Kobach wins that primary - which I don't think has been held yet - then Barbara Bollier has an *excellent* chance of beating him.

Same situation in

AK (Begich run has refused to run)
TN (McGraw has refused to run)
KS (Sebelius has refused to run)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_senators_from_Kansas

Kansas has been a state since 1861. They have had THREE Democratic senators since 1861. The last one, George McGill won in 1932. The last competitive race was 1974.

Odds are high they are running Barbara Bollier, who up until December 2018, was a Rethug.

In 2014, when the Democratic nominee literally sued to get off the Senate ballot.

If Kathleen Sebelius won’t run for U.S. Senate in 2020, Kansas Democrats can’t win
