(13 posts)This is "a former Bernie employee" and I heard Bernie denounce such behavior on the news the other day. A candid can not be responsible for every action a supporter takes, We are all on the same team and have the same goal. Get the cockroach out of the White House.

(13 posts)A lot of them are paid very little money if they are paid at all. You get rid of them if they do not work out. At least that was the way it was in 1976 on the Jerry Brown campaign.

(13 posts)After Tuesday the nomination will be locked up. Now you should be thinking about beating Trump. It will not be as easy as many people here think. What is the best way to bring people who LOVE Bernie back? Rubbing their noses into the defeat is not the way to do it.

(2,412 posts)Yes, I am more than fed up with the constant put downs. I am waiting to hear in detail what Biden might do about Health Care, Student Debt, Accessible Higher Education and Day Care.
The attacks are tiresome and they have been going on here for about four years. How will that help?

(729 posts)behave responsibly. WHEN & IF you see this kind of nonsensical attacks & all the other BS being vomited out against others working to SAVE democracy from these craven magat grifters but refuse to stop folks who are working for YOUR CAMPAIGN & in fact, actually give out smug comments about the REVOLTING actions of the "BernieBros" what the f*ck do you expect to happen? & for the record, I HAVE NOT attacked Bernie. As a matter of fact, last time around, Bernie WAS my choice but being a woman of color & seeing & hearing his mysoginistic BS, not to mention his actions toward people like me while at the same time, all while claiming to trying to advance equality for minorities, I HAVE A PROBLEM with that.
He's made his stand CLEAR for ANYONE who see. The BUCK STOPS WITH THE LEADER of any movement. The manipulation of videos to make him appear as if Obama would have endorsed him, etc etc, eck-cetera. Everyone EXCEPT his most ardent followers are saying that they're going to VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO but they are CLEARLY saying that should he NOT get the nomination, (hilarious considering that he says that he IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE PARTY & makes disparaging remarks about said party...but I digress) but his people are going around saying that they will vote for everyone downticket BUT not for the top of the same ticket.
I don't need to attack the jackass because he's doing the best job of that, ie, he "don't need no stinkin' help". I've NEVER voted against my best interests & have NO plan to begin now. I've had quite a few bernie-ites straight up tell me that they have NO intention of voting blue IF it means someone other than bernie. So, NOPE! I'll vote for him if by SOME STUPENDOUS MIRACLE or more likely, help from trumpanzees & lil more help from pootie-poo, I'll pour quickset cement ALL OVER my nose & vote for him because it'd literally be somewhere near a chance to save the country... OTHERWISE, UH, nope. NOT A CHANCE. Don't waste your time because I donated & spoke to people about him in 2016 but this time around, he seems DESPERATE to win, come hail or high water, otherwise known as EGO run. He's done EVERYTHING possible to sour his supporters from the last time around. He has ALREADY broken his vaunted promise NOT to be like ICKY AMIN & release his medical records, etc. NOPE, been down this road already...
Meanwhile, in other most pleasant comments, "Welcome to DU".

(268 posts)Joe Biden has had a stuttering problem since he was a child. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to with cognitive decline or intelligence. Labeling it as Dementia is cruel and these people are in effect making fun of a disability. Joe even started a foundation to help with stuttering.

Even if Orfalea isn't still technically an employee of the Sanders campaign, he seems to be acting as an agent of the campaign. And he's been making these calls to damage the Biden campaign.
Looks like an investigation is in order to find out just how directly the Sanders campaign was involved in this.

(43,545 posts)things like this. The ultra left social media 'Outrage Wurlitzer' is now cranked up to 11 and claiming that exit polls showing Sanders won easily (Mass.) 42 Dallas precincts not having their votes counted, and then the California NPP voter issues all mean that the entire Super Tuesday elections were rigged to crush the Bern.

preference dropped out (Pete). There are many other candidates I would have preferred been our nominee, but between Biden and Sanders it is an easy choice, as I do not want to lose control of the House, which is quite likely if Bernie was the standard bearer.
I have maybe used BS 3, 4 times at most in my posts, everytime as a shorthand, and if you look around numerous threads, you will see that above all else I am a stickler for what I truly perceive to be the truth. A perfect example is when I see people continuing to use the false angle that Biden was 'telling a story' when all he did was simply misspeak when he said he was running for the US Senate when he meant the Presidency. That sort of agitprop, that never back down, always try to deflect from a simple error when 'my' candidate does it is not only disingenuous, but ultimately counterproductive.
Also I was not calling anyone here on DU cray cray AT ALL, I was specifically talking about the hyper partisan radicals out in the sewers of social media. There are many on every side, but the subject of my post was about what was going on with the Sanders NON DU extremists. I have taken hammer and tong to many other Twitter trolls from other sides who get posted all too often here as well, some of them rabid-Bernie bashers and/or Biden supporters like that detestable MrWeeks (who loves, bizarrely as a black man, to post Hitler shit) who has been banned from Twitter for ages, yet keeps making sockpuppet Twitter accounts.

(1,026 posts)Look, candidates are not responsible for what supporters do but that is not what this is. This is embedded in his campaign. It's evident through the people he hires, the tone he uses, the memos they send out to staff with talking points etc.. The vitriol is rampant. This is not normal bad behavior coming out of supporters.

I think I will hold Biden personally responsible for every time one of those Joe Bros calls me a BS supporter. Nothing like rude nicknames to make you want to unite. It must mean Joe Biden controls everyone of his adult internet supporters.
Come off it folks. Bernie doesn't telepathically control everyone. Just like Biden doesn't.
And it is not as if Biden's gaffs were some deep dark secret. Geez, if he can't take criticism for it now, how do you think Trump is going to treat him?
