Getting worried here. Apparently lots of UofM and students at WMU lining up for registering and voting in Ann Arbor and WMU. Don’t know about my alma mater MSU. Could shift to Bernie. Wish Biden had spent more time here, hell, Bernie came back to Michigan today. All of us old Retired farts have voted for Biden, we’re more pragmatic than the young, we just want the orange pustule on the buttocks of humanity out of office, we’re not interested in a revolution.

If it is close, then I can see him wanting to hold on a little longer. I don't have a problem with him staying in a little longer just to be absolutely sure.

But, in all truth, it's likely over, now. I don't say that to rub it in anyone's face. I actually admire Sanders, but it really is likely over at this point.

Whatever happens, I hope Sanders doesn't take it all the way to the convention if it becomes clear he won't walk into the convention with anything close to a plurality. I especially hope he will drop out if Biden ends up getting a majority of the delegates going into the convention. I actually think, in that last scenario, he will drop out and do the selfless thing.

primary today, I would vote for:

24. He Won't, Which Will Underscore The Hypocrisy of His Attacks On Warren
Tue Mar 10, 2020, 09:06 PM
Mar 2020

From the get-go, his campaign has pushed out this idea that Warren should drop out because there is no path to the nomination for her. Indeed, Trump has jumped on this Bernie talking point in blaming Warren for causing Bernie to fall behind when the truth is that Biden was hurt far more by the presence of so many other moderate and left of center candidates.

Yet, even if Bernie were to fall helplessly behind, watch him disregard his own campaign's prior rhetoric and insist on the need to continue the fight until the convention regardless of the math. Also, remember all that rhetoric about the nominee should be the person with a plurality? Well, watch Bernie and his campaign change their tune, because you cannot trust Bernie anymore than you can trust his promises to provide his medical records.

It is not a question about electability. It is about fitness for office. In the end, if Bernie can't be the nominee, then he and his campaign will work to sabotage the Democratic party's chances given that Bernie's campaign is built on attacking the Democratic party.
