He is a stiff-necked old bird, who has difficulty with political realities.

The concession is sufficient endorsement.

His most devoted followers will shift without missing a beat to denouncing Sanders as a sell-out who has betrayed the 'Bernie' movement. He has never been able to exercise leadership, and his endorsement really is not worth much in consequence.

endorsed Biden when they suspended their campaigns either. They all did soon afterward but it was a helluva lot more important that they do so at that time with yet more crucial primaries looming dead ahead.

Bernie did what he had to do so don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Expect Warren and many other high-ranking Dems to come out and endorse soon. And get ready for Obama to make an appearance and do the same.

Sanders ain't the enemy...Trump is, along with his entire rotten Republican rearguard. We all better snap outta our Sanders sniping routine and start focusing on the fascists.

Wed Apr 8, 2020, 01:51 PM

What did they expect...for Joe to lead Bernie out on a leash and his hands and knees and have BS lick his shoes and kiss Jill's wedding ring? I'm 99.99% sure that Biden and his boys are pleased with today's events...so I fail to see why DUers aren't also satisfied and exhaling a big sigh of relief.

Considering where we were just a short 5 or 6 weeks ago, we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. It ain't even mid-April and we already have our presumptive nominee...unlike the bitter bloodbaths of 2008 and 2016. Maybe old habits are just hard to break...some folks here have been bashing Bernie for so long (myself included at times) that they are at a loss as to what to do now. No doubt in my mind what's next...besides, reading umpteen threads and posts about how Bernie needs to drop out was getting mighty old mighty fast anyway.

I'm just looking forward to BO entering the public limelight again and start joining the fray...we all know how anything Obama drives the Fuhrer totally up the wall. Hard to believe Trump can possibly get any more unhinged, but if anybody can push him completely over the edge Barack can.

So many people posting, some just get lost in the crowd, especially those who seem to have nothing to say.

By not at once getting behind Joe completely , and without hesitation giving all his support , and asking his supporters do the same. By not doing it now will reduce Biden's numbers in the main election , which is unacceptable , period. His refusal now shows he wasn't presidential material, and isn't for beating trump if he doesn't get his way on some things. Socialist shouldn't be allowed on a Democratic ticket again. What's next if Biden refuses any of his proposals, he runs as a third party candidate ?

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
