Joe Biden, the former vice president and a likely future contender for the Democratic presidential nomination, is throwing his support behind striking Stop & Shop workers at a rally in Dorchester.
Biden has joined workers in front of the Stop & Shop at the South Bay Center on the eighth day of the walkout by 31,000 workers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
“What’s happening here is workers are not being treated across the board with dignity,” Biden told the crowd. “They’re not being treated like they matter.”...
