name when they married. If Pete had taken his name they would both be Glezman.

Hyphenating the two names would have just made the situation worse, I imagine.

Glezman-Buttigieg or Buttigieg-Glezman.

do the kids do when they marry? Call themselves Harry Jones-Smith-Buttigieg-Glezman and Mary Jones-Smith-Buttigieg-Glezman? I imagine they have to select.

I agree - and I say this as a gay married man - the marriage win is not the end of the story.

Also, he called his husband “Peter” - now I wonder if that’s how he’s known personally!
