I read in a political message board that Bernie Sanders had called the meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un a very good thing.
In fact, Bernie Sanders said that if Donald Trump manages to get Kim Jong-Un to destroy his nuclear weapons, that is a very good thing.

The word if is key.
Its not the same for me to state that My conversation with my father will be a very good thing if he lets borrow his car, and my conversation with my father will be a very good thing.
Im seeing too many edited video clips and edited quotes from politicians these days.
