I haven't heard many of our other candidates bashing Trump.

It's going to take someone as tough as nails to take on trump. At least she served in the military and understands all about the Saudi/Israeli/US alliance under Trump.

Remember something else, there was only 1 Democrat in the House who voted no to give Bush the authority to invade Iraq.

Did Assad gas his own people? Tulsi is former military who served our nation and she doesn't deserve to be bashed here. It's one reason I proudly show her face.

Removing Assad from power was an alliance between Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the US. It had nothing to do with the false flag operation of Assad gassing his own people, it had all to with building a Qatari natural gas pipeline through Syria which Assad would not allow. Instead, an Iran/Iraq pipeline is being built through Syria.

Yes I know president Obama gave a speech blaming Assad, but then what did he do? He did nothing because he knew that it wasn't Assad.

Removing Assad from power would have had the same effect that removing Saddam from power had. People make me laugh, they have history to teach them but they never learn.

Even after he supposedly turned over his entire stockpile of chemical weapons three years ago, Bashar Assad is still crossing Barack Obama's "red line," a U.N. investigation has found.

U.S. officials confirmed Wednesday that the probe had determined that the Syrian president and his regime were responsible for at least two cases of the deadly use of chlorine in the Arab country's civil war since 2013. Investigators also blamed the Islamic State terrorist group in an incident involving mustard gas.

for spreading anti-Mueller propaganda. Have fun Tulsi bashers throwing love and kisses at a country that hacks up a journalist with a bone saw. I haven't forgotten yet what Saudi Arabia did to us on 9/11 and neither has Tulsi.

Keep bashing her it will alleviate the hurt that sometimes comes from telling the truth.

I find it disgusting that so many here have sided with Saudi Arabia, the country that was really behind the gassing in Syria.

If you believe she is honestly disturbed enough about Trump/Saud to speak on it, yet honestly NOT disturbed enough about Trump/Russia to speak on it, AND she is a well-informed well-intentioned intellectually-honest good-actor, I cannot help you.

Something is wrong about the things which she chooses to speak and act on. I may not be able to convince anyone else to think likewise, but as for myself, I cannot trust her.

the right wing narrative being pushed about Sri Lanka. I live among Trumpers in central Pa. where they voted 80-20 for Trump. I went golfing Monday and the first thing I heard from them was a question about why the liberal media isn't talking about Muslims killing Christians in Sri Lanka? You are spot on, she had the guts to answer the question my Trump friends asked me. She is the only candidate so far that I have seen answer that right wing talking point.

You're darn right I trust her, only she and mayor Pete, among our candidates served our country in the military, I stand with our veterans.

for finding her not worthy of my trust. Can you actually provide a honest and comprehensive run-down of her stance on Trump-Russia/Putin which puts her on the right side of a) our national security, b) the rule of law, or c) intellectual honesty?

You know, I'm sure you know, I'm sure everyone here knows, that given the Russian-Iran-Syrian alignment and Saudi-Iranian antagonism, bashing Trump-Saudi corruption (however warranted that criticism may be to an *independent* arbiter) is still ALSO congruent with corrupt traitorous behavior favoring Assad or Putin or even Iran. Go ahead and provide some evidence that indicates she is worthy of the public trust which allows us to differentiate between the various explanations for her statements on this matter.

Soft on Saudi Arabia is a good line of attack and a valid one. Another is soft-on-Russia. While Trump became chummy with Putin, Russia has deployed what can only be interpreted to be a first-strike weapon. Trump is not making us safer, and he's destabilizing the alliances that have kept the peace.

People don't trust her ehh. How many of our candidates did this?

Serving in Iraq

In 2004, as Tulsi was campaigning for re-election to the State House, the 29th Brigade Combat Team was called up and began preparing to deploy to Iraq. Tulsi’s name was not on the mandatory deployment roster, but she knew there was no way she could stay behind in beautiful Hawaii as her brothers and sisters were sent off to war.

She left an easy win to re-election and volunteered to deploy.

Keep bashing our veterans.
