E.g., no doubt him coming out in support of same sex marriage had a significant impact and I bet many folks changed their views during that time. It is very effective when statements are coming from a very respected and accomplished man. E.g., once elected, if he says Medicare for All is a good idea, I bet he will shift millions of minds on this issue. The other one is employment non discriminatiom act, I think he has the ability to get bipartisan support for it, etc. Healthcare, infrastructure, tax reform, immigration reform, etc. He has the best chance of achieving those goals, more so than Obama could.
