I’m sure journalist David Sirota is working on a piece of JOURNALISM to help “destroy Joe” as we speak.

All our candidates are GREAT, including Bernie, Elizabeth and Joe. I look forward to an exciting debate schedule. No doubt the three of them can hold their own as colleagues together in an honest debate about policy.

This isn’t about our Democrats “destroying” each other: it’s about debating and finding the Presidential candidate who can lift up America and destroy Donald Trump at the ballot box.

It is definitely one of her strengths and that’s one of the reasons she’s on my short list. She has also done a ton to protect people from voracious corporations.

Biden has strengths as well. Joe would be able to repair our damaged relationship with our allies on day one. No one else could step on the international stage and bring back the confidence our allies used to have in us. He has some strengths in domestic policies as well.

All of our candidates are wonderful in one way or another. As primary voters we have a wealth of choices. I just hope DU can celebrate that, and not try to tear all our good candidates down out of shortsightedness

Totally different topic though, do you believe Biden was “sexist” when he went after Rudy in 2008?

Both Warren and Biden have the same style of attacking Republicans w humor and biting sarcastic insults.

Neither Warren or Biden are sexists.

Was Warren a “sexist” when she sarcastically attacked Trump in 2016? No.

IMHO it is a bit of a stretch to accuse Biden or Warren of that.

Just because you may prefer another candidate doesn’t mean the ones you don’t like are sexists when they go after Republicans.

JMHO but I think Warren and Biden will join forces at some point. That would be a powerhouse team!

I think this is bullshit. All we have to do is use President Nazi's own words against him. All we have to do is have a plan for the farmers so that their family farms don't go bankrupt and get gobbled up by BigAg for pennies on the dollar. All we have to do is show how renewable energy is the solution for multiple problems including sustainable careers for a more stable future. All we have to do is call out republican obstruction, corruption and indifference to the suffering of millions of hard working Americans without fear. All we have to do is simply tell Americans the truth. We will win.

whatsoever. It has only one focus - beating trump. If, by the time primry votes are cast, data shows Biden has the best chance of doing so, it will be the ONLY issue that matters.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Attack politics are NOT what we need. We will never out-negative Trump and the RWNJs. Winning the nomination by destroying others will result in a Trump victory. Mark my words

We have to win. We can't afford the negativity. Every Senator has their reasons for their votes. They represent states and are answerable to the voters of that state.

76. more payback of student loans

this only had to do with bankruptcy. And you can still make a case for student loan forgiveness. It has turned out that it is very hard, but that is from court decisions. The credit card industry employed people in Delaware, and if you lived there, you'd feel the same, and no doubt your Senator does what seems best to the voters of your state, whether the rest of us like it or not.

who doesn't participate. He only posts videos (his own videos,IMO). So he gets paid for each click. Never a comment. Never a thought. Never a contribution. Never a response to anyone. I imagine he spends a lot of time posting his videos on various sites every day. He's not a real participant. A real participant answers even just an occasional response to his post, IMO. At some time.

To each his own.

That doesn't mean everyone else who posts a video without biased commentary as a prelude is in the same boat.

The title is, Professor Warren tries to protect us from Senator Biden’s credit card industry bill. And my chosen candidate is Warren. My bias is pretty clear.

I think Biden is the worst possible choice of candidate and I hope older Dems don’t screw us over because they think he is the most electable. He isn’t.

Vote for your favorite candidate. If we all vote for our favorite candidate in the primary, we will be sure to have the strongest candidate for the general. 90% of Republicans are going to vote for Trump. Our goal must be inspiring the Democratic electorate and infrequent voters. That is our path to victory. Picking the candidate who is our third or forth choice because we think he can win is about the only way we could end up losing this thing.

81. I always vote for my favorite in the primary. The most ideological left candidate
Sat Apr 27, 2019, 02:06 PM
Apr 2019

Rarely does my primary candidate win the nomination.

So I just suck it up and get behind the eventual nominee in the general election as if they were my first choice to begin with.

Loud and proud!

Knock doors, make calls, tell everyone the nominee is the best thing since sliced bread.

This is the only way I know how to be. We need to win back congress and the White House so we can put our policies to work lifting up the lives of Americans!

Have a great weekend!

He may be our best bet, but he won't be my first choice and is not among my front-runners -- largely because of stuff like this.

In my view, he has either immensely underestimated the consequences and effect of some of the positions he has taken during his career or he has disregarded those consequences. I like to think that it's the first. But regardless, it is not a great trait. Biden has at best inadvertantly supported too many positions that slighted economic and civil justice in his long career for my liking.
