New Yorker Magazine reporter Jane Mayer writes about Biden's Anita Hill thing.

Jane Mayer, together with Jill Abramson, authored the book "Strange Justice" in 1994 about the hearings. This New Yorker Magazine webpage article gives a description of the events and Biden's role in the case.

That is very interesting. It also conflicts with Mayer's suggestion that Biden ever promised to defend Thomas in the hearings -- a claim wholly founded on Thomas and his wife's saying it.

doesn't mean he promised to defend Thomas, or that he'd vote for him.

It just means he told Thomas he'd treat him more like a criminal defendant than a person about to be interviewed for a job.

is he got rolled by the repukes. Dems are just not as ruthless as republicans. Also, I wouldn't believe any of the accounts given by the republicans at the time. Remember. They're republicans and they lie with ease.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
