Wondering what his stand is on Medicare for All. Or Medicare for America.

(4,915 posts)Click on menu and vision and then the part about rebuilding middle class. Then expand the part that says
Making sure the peace of mind of health insurance is a right not a privilege.

Milk toast for everyone.
Peace of mind of health insurance is a right? What does that even mean?
Do you remember where Biden was on the public option in 2009/10?

(58,785 posts)This union's white male working class members went heavily for Trump in 2016. Deplorable.
But many were back in the midterms and now still more are coming back because they trust Joe to...apparently stand between them and castrating white and black women. Or as the union president put it, something about that "connecting" they rejected with our female candidate, whose positions were as strongly pro-labor as his.
Happily, PoC tend to like and trust him also. A terrific auger for the future.
Notably, the endorsement is not of Sanders, who had the next-largest bloc of support after Trump in 2016's binary choice. He tried to woo them again this time, but is no longer a sole alternative to a female.

(3,256 posts)It has no slogans, empty promises and platitudes. No railing against corporations, millionaires - strike that- or billionaires. No one is demonized. No calls to have a "revolution" to overthrow the "establishment"
Almost seems something one cannot become a faith-based devotee of.

(4,387 posts)He's been "running" for months and his Joe's Vision section is just...very bare. You'd think a guy who's done it before would have a more fleshed out issues section to his site.

(58,785 posts)Were in a battle for the soul of America. Its time to remember who we are. Were Americans: tough, resilient, but always full of hope. We treat each other with dignity. Lets rebuild the middle classand this time, well make sure everyone comes along black, white, Latino, Asian. Everyone. Lets fight back against the incredible abuses of power were seeing. Lets dig deep and remember that our best days still lie ahead.
This is what Joe believes: ...
Btw, if you clicked on the headers, like what's behind "Making sure the peace of mind of health insurance is a right, not a privilege," and "Tackling climate change..." "Ensuring our workers and communities benefit from international trade," etcetera, you found mission statements. Detailed positions will be issued later as they always are; most who study them will be professional analysts, of course.
