Not sure why no one has brought this up about Bernie.

Does Bernie Sanders even know how to play Golf????

He certainly won't fit in, just as They have been saying. Doesn't get along with anyone. Isn't a team player.

But what about Golf? How will he be spending his weekends?

Why hasn't this come up on the DU?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Golf is a pesticide and water wasting disaster. At a time when we are facing climate change disaster golf sends the wrong message and actually promotes wrong behavior.

Because I was having fainting spells every morning at work. And my heart would race. And when I ate any type of meat in a restaurant, I got chest pains. So I quit my really good job at a national research lab and quit working at age 57.
Moved to a cheap area to live with no income until age 62 with social security.

Anyway joined a cheap golf club in WA state and began playing 5 days a week , 9 holes for a few months until I got stronger and do 18 holes once in a while. After 4 months I was walking 18 holes 5 times a week. Best part was 4.5 hours of walking on green grass, with trees and water ponds and sunshine, in the company of 3 cheerful golfers, without getting bored for a minute.

To make a long story short, now I am 79, my chest pains and fainting spells are a distant memory, even my hip joint pain is gone. golf literally saved my life. There is no other form of exercise I could have done for 4.5 hours 5 times a week without going insane and bored out of my mind.

I am looking forward to breaking my age .. before the body gives out. Very rarely achieved!

Must be thousands across the country.

I'd trust a softball player over a golfer any day. Takes teamwork, Patience and in my league, everyone gets to play...ability be damned. Everyone has a equal opportunity to excel.
