Have you bothered to take a look at any of the other Democrats 2020 candidates pages on DU?

Several of them are like ghost towns. A few have no threads at all. Others have several threads but all created by the same author, or maybe two.

I imagine a lot of these candidates will be dropping out of the race as their funds start to run dry. The field is too crowded. It would be nice if some of the departing candidates threw their support behind Mayor Pete.

to coordinate (this is not just about the primaries), that is why you get a swarm sometimes if you headbutt a sacred cow.

Do not know if all that is true, but the people who told me certainly seem to be operating in good faith.

I also think there is going to me a HUGE rush to Biden as soon as he declares officially, and Pete is going to take a hit (hopefully not a big one).

I would wager Biden is up to 30% or more here within 2 weeks.

I just worry that all the other candidates' (unless those candidates are seen as potential VP's for Biden or are basically so small they are off the charts) supporters are going to start to be framed as obstructionists and mini semi-Sanderites who are preventing 'unity' around Joe to beat Trump.

I hope I am wrong.

People still remember him as he was. He looks and sounds like an old, old man now, and I think people are tired of old (Trump.)

do not see how the 2005 Bankruptcy bill he helped ram through (that made it almost impossible to get out from under students loans and also took away clean sheet bankruptcies from most all people) plus that snide attitude towards younger people is going to generate much enthusiasm in my age cohorts (say 18 to 39, I am 23).

Literally no one in my close social set supports him (of course we all will work to get him elected v the monster if he is the nominee). I have made a LOT of inroads flipping Bernie people over to Pete. Some also like Kamala Harris and also Warren, a few Beto people too. Many also want Stacey Abrams to run. Those are by far the top ones in my real life environs. I am a post grad PhD student and so so many of my friends at that level have student loans debt-loads of 100,000, 150,000, 200,000 USD. 2 are over 300K! That is madness.

I really like Biden and think he was a great VP.

But I see how he has really aged,
and that's a message (to me) about how we really do need to pass the torch to a younger generation.
