Bernie Sanders could be the first left candidate, the first candidate of the working class, to ever capture a major party nomination. And if he is nominated, both head-to-head polling and other factors give us reason to believe he is in a strong position to defeat Donald Trump and capture the presidency. Sanders is especially equipped to defeat Trump in the key states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
