Tim Snyder: Ukraine needs weapons faster to hurt Russian logistics - The Last Word - MSNBC

Vladimir Putin has ramped up the intensity of Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, with the country experiencing the most attacks in one day since the start of the year. Yale University professor of history Timothy Snyder joins MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss the best way the United States can help Ukraine sustain itself as the war enters a second year. - Aired on 11/02/2023.

He did add it was stalled on both sides, still there’s no reason for this. They have the will, the courage and and desire to keep fighting.
Praying for Ukraine…Slava Ukraine!

And they have been incredibly brave and determined to have persevered this long in the face of unprecedented attacks. It's a crime that the our government has been stalled for this long. We made them a promise and need to follow through with all that was promised despite the Republicans. Lives and a nation depend on it.

7. "Lives and a nation depend on it". The more we delay aid to Ukraine the more people will die.

I don't know why the US and it's allies keep providing aid in drips and drabs. Give them what they need to push ruzzia off it's borders.
As for attention span the old MSM adage holds true. "If it bleeds it leads" .
What is the next shiny thing to grab the readers attention..

Not that the Republicans care, back in the day a bill for Ukraine aid had already been passed, but TFG attempted to blackmail them into finding "dirt" on Biden's son before he agreed to send it - resulting in his first impeachment. And the Republicans of today aren't any better, the House just sent a bill for Israeli aid that they had to know would never pass the Senate and the president wouldn't sign. Meanwhile, innocent citizens are dying... And Ukraine was forced to wait again until the Republicans finally chose a Speaker.

I really appreciate his book on tyranny, as well as the Yale series on Ukrainian history that he gave recently. I think I got up to lecture 12. Wish I was able to stay on it, but it is fabulous series on YouTube.

Thanks again for all you do Rhiannon - you really do make DU a better place!

Not only Professor Snyder, but Professor Laurence Tribe and legal experts Andrew Weissmann, Neal Katyal and Glenn Kirschner. And I should also look into Timothy Snyder's offerings as well. Thanks for the recommendation.

And I do try to keep up. I've had computer issues recently, just got a new laptop which I'm hoping to have up and running sometime soon. Not to mention, DU.4 is an adjustment...
